Destacats / Highlights

[May 2018 begun with a fet species already recorded in April. It was the case of Moltoni’s Warbler and Balearic Spotted Flycatcher. A Terek Sandpiper was recorded at Ebre delta just one day and a Broad-billed Sandpiper reached the Delta later in the month. The Alt Empordà was granted with a presumed hybrid Little x Western Reef Egret. And Lleida plains were visited by a subadult Spanish Imperial Eagle. Then by mid month the news spreaded: Greater Sand Plover at Punta de la Banya (restricted access area). Wow. Same week a Trumpeter Finch and a Laughing Gull were recorded too. Late May brought a possible breeding case of Rook in Catalunya and an influx of Rosy Starlings with 16 birds in three different places]
