Destacats / Highlights

[The 1st November weekend brought a Common Rosefinch and a Hume’s Warbler, besides a couple of Yellow-broweds, one of them carrying a ring. Rooks continued at Figueres while the Hooded Crows of Baix Llobregat were seen at inner areas of Llobregat delta and not always at coastal El Prat. Five Richard’s Pipits were seen at Alt Empordà and more YBW were found. By mid month, an unexpected group of 4 Slavonian Grebes reached for the 1st time ever the Ivars and Vila-Sana lagoon. From 20.11 on a number of  extraordinary observations happened: Eastern Yellow Wagtail and Hume’s Leaf Warbler at Llobregat Delta, Smew, Pallid Harrier and 2nd ever Steppe Shrike at Ebre Delta].
